

About Dr. Whitney Green Bautista LAc, DACM, MAcOM
Dr. Whitney is dedicated to helping you achieve optimal health through Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, inspired by her own profound personal journey. Introduced to acupuncture during a time of desperation, she found relief and a path to wellness, which sparked her passion for this ancient practice. Dr. Whitney specializes in musculoskeletal pain, injury recovery, and women’s health including fertility support, pregnancy care, postpartum care, menstrual pain, menopause and cosmetic acupuncture.
Dr. Whitney is a Licensed Acupuncturist and is Nationally Board Certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Dr. Whitney earned her Master Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in 2012 and her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from Pacific College of Health Sciences in 2020. Her most recent studies focused on evidence-informed practice, integrative diagnostics, research, and inter-professional communication.
Dr. Whitney also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science from Oregon State University and has studied Advanced Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology at Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. Dr. Whitney has extensive training in sports injuries and pain management with her certificate in Whitfield Reaves Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program (2016). She is certified through National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) in the NADA protocol, an acupuncture protocol used for addiction, mental health, and emotional trauma. She is also certified to teach 1000 Hands Buddha Qigong through Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School.
A native Oregonian, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys in the beautiful outdoors and combining her knowledge of Nutrition Science and Chinese Medical Nutrition in the kitchen. Dr. Whitney values giving back to the community she grew up in through the Tigard Rotary Club and serves as a board member of the Tigard Chamber of Commerce.

About Dr. Alvin Bautista DC, MS
Dr. Bautista was born and raised in Manila, Phillippines. When he was twelve years old, he and his family moved to Beaverton, Oregon and has since called Oregon his home. He graduated from Beaverton High School in 2005 and pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Physiology at the University of Oregon, in Eugene, Oregon.
While studying at U of O, a class in Complementary and Alternative Medicine opened the door to the field of Chiropractic. His interest in the field’s focus on hands on adjustments and movement as a therapeutic approach to health care and wellness solidified his career direction. He chose to attend the Western States University in Portland, Oregon to study and be a chiropractic physician.
Growing up in an active home, he was always involved in sports. In high school he swam, paddled, and played football and rugby. This interest in sports grew to focus his education in sports medicine, neurology and functional movement. He graduated UWS with his chiropractic doctorate along with a Master’s Degree in Exercise Sports Science in 2014.
Dr. Bautista has attended numerous treatment-based continuing education courses and specializes on the efficacy of chiropractic in treating whiplash injuries, sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, soft tissue therapies, temporomandibular (TMJ) joint dysfunction, musculoskeletal disorders and wellness care.
While he is not active at the clinic, Dr. Bautista likes to spend time with his lovely wife, Whitney, relatives and friends. Dr. Bautista is also involved in the local Filipino-American Friendship club.
His hobbies include: passionately cheering for the Oregon Ducks and Portland Trail Blazers, working out, exploring Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, travelling with his wife, paddling, rafting, playing the Ukulele, and taking care of his house plants.
Dr. Bautista’s primary focus is providing the best quality care in an ethical and affordable way while assisting his patients resume the activities they love. He works closely with acupuncturists, naturopaths, physical therapists, personal trainers in the area as well as other medical facilities to provide the best care for his patients.


About Elise Baron, LAc, DACM, MACM
Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Dr. Elise Baron is a board-certified licensed acupuncturist who graduated with her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM). Elise also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Linguistics from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA.
Elise discovered acupuncture at a young age as an athlete dealing with sports-related injuries. The significant, positive impact acupuncture had on her recovery and overall well-being inspired her to pursue a career in this healing art and share this wonderful medicine with others. Her initial interest in acupuncture for athletic injury blossomed as she discovered the holistic nature of traditional Chinese medicine and the wide assortment of conditions it can address. She uses a variety of treatment techniques—including acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, and tuina massage—to treat a wide range of conditions, from chronic pain and stress to digestive issues, reproductive health, and musculoskeletal pain. Elise takes a personalized approach to each patient, tailoring treatments to address individual needs and support the body’s natural healing process in order to restore balance.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Elise is deeply connected to the region’s natural beauty. Outside of her practice, she enjoys exploring the outdoors through camping and hiking, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing at home with her cat Ted and her many houseplants. She also enjoys reading and crafting as ways to unwind and nurture her creativity.
